Blackstone, the Magic Detective was a fifteen-minute series broadcast Sunday afternoons on the Mutual Broadcasting System from October 1948 to April 1949. Ed Jerome played a character based on the real stage magician Harry Blackstone, who consulted on the programme; each episode closed with an explanation of a trick listeners could perform themselves.
