The Radio Planet · one night only
One Night Only
Forget series. These are the broadcasts that happened once — and assembled casts nobody could afford twice.
A bond rally, a Christmas special, the hour after a president died, the night the war ended. No sponsor owned them and no schedule repeated them: a studio was cleared, every star in town was called, and one performance went out. Everything here is filed by the occasion rather than the programme, and the bill is read off the transfer's own title.

How these are gathered
A broadcast joins an occasion only when its own title says what the occasion was, and regularly scheduled series named after one — the weekly Victory Parade of Spotlight Bands, for instance — are kept out, because a weekly show is not a one-off. Cast lists are read from the title where the announcer's billing survives in it, so a card saying eight names on one stage is quoting the disc, not estimating.
